About

I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor practising in Oklahoma, with 30 years of clinical experience.

I graduated from the University of Colorado in Denver in 1995 with a master’s degree in counseling psychology/counseling education.

How I Work

My clinical approaches include Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Client-Centered Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Emotionally-Focused Therapy (EFT), Motivational Interviewing, Narrative Therapy, and Solution-Focused Therapy.

I developed my own style of counseling, steer clear of typical “psychobabble,” and am fond of a good analogy.

Who I Help

I work with clients on stress and anxiety, relationship issues, family conflicts, and depression.

I have worked with high school students, non-traditional (older) students, companies, individuals, and client’s in their homes, addressing depression, anxiety, and grief/loss.
